We will replace your phone with at least a comparable new or refurbished unit of our choosing in the event of loss¹, theft, damage beyond repair² not covered by the manufacturer) or moisture damage. No more than two (2) claims per twelve-month period may be filed³. Absolutely no upgrades are permitted. Coverage is subject to a 30-day waiting period. If there is a claim within the 30-day waiting period, the deductible will be $150 ($250 for Bluetooth enabled phones, $400 for PDAs and Smartphones). A non-refundable deductible will be collected for each authorized claim. This policy is not transferable.
You must notify Pay-Less Cellular at (310)586-2979 to suspend service in the event of loss or theft. All claims must be filed within 60 days of incident. Pay-Less Cellular will notify you of information you must supply. Report any theft to the police and obtain a police report case number.

¹Loss does not include loss as a result of governmental action including but not limited to seizure or confiscation.
² Damage beyond repair does not include damage by war (declared or undeclared), act of God, terrorism, radiation, faulty or defective design or manufacture, or as a result of using the phone in a manner for which it was not intended or designed, voluntary parting with equipment, technological obsolescence, intentional, dishonest, or criminal acts, change in color, texture, finish, expansion or contraction, or any cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear.
³ Handset protection is automatically terminated after the second claim (in a twelve month period) is made, and you may not reapply for one full year thereafter. You are responsible for the payment of all premiums, per the terms of the agreement, listed on your monthly bill from Pay-Less Cellular. The Handset Protection is continuous until canceled unless you cease to be a valid, active, and current customer of Pay-Less Cellular or the applicable monthly charge is not paid. You may cancel this program by mailing in advance written notice stating when such cancellation is effective. Claims reported that occur during a period of suspension from Pay-Less Cellular (other than suspension related to claims) are not covered until your account with Pay-Less Cellular is brought to active and current status. Claims reported that occur following termination of service from Pay-Less Cellular are not covered by this program.
